The root cause
Sweat does not smell. That is the whole thing.
Fresh sweat is close to odorless. The smell shows up afterwards, when the bacteria living on your skin get to work on it. Sweat is the food. Bacteria are the smell.

Will this stop me sweating?
No, and nothing without aluminum will. Antiperspirants block sweat; deodorants handle odor. This is a deodorant. You may still feel damp on a hot day — you should not smell like it. If dryness is the thing you actually need, this is the wrong product and we would rather say so.
I react to baking soda. Will this burn me?
Baking soda is in the formula, so we cannot promise you it will not. What we can tell you is what is different: arrowroot does the moisture work rather than baking soda doing everything, and it is dispersed through shea butter and coconut oil instead of pressed on as dry powder. Most of what people call baking-soda burn is dry powder against skin. Patch-test on your inner arm for a couple of days first, and if it still does not agree with you, the 30-day guarantee covers it.
Is there a detox period?
