How fast does shipping take?
Orders ship within 1β2 business days. Standard delivery anywhere in the contiguous U.S. takes 3β5 business days after shipping.
Is shipping free?
Free shipping on every order over $100. Orders under that have a flat shipping rate calculated at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we ship to the U.S. only. International expansion is on the roadmap β join the Volume list to be notified when it launches.

What does Volume actually make?
A small range for everyday use: things you put on your skin and hair, and things you drink. Cold-pressed black seed oil runs through most of the line β in the hair oil, the tallow balm and the deodorant β and ESSELATE is our real-coffee, zero-sugar sparkling drink. Different products, one rule: ingredients you can name, on a list short enough to finish.
What is black seed oil?
Black seed oil is pressed from the seeds of the Nigella sativa plant β a small black seed used in apothecary traditions across the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia for thousands of years. The compound most studied in it is thymoquinone (TQ), which is why we test for it and print the number.
What does the oil smell and taste like?
Sharp, peppery and earthy. That intensity is a reasonable proxy for thymoquinone content β a black seed oil that smells flat or neutral usually has very little in it. On skin and hair the scent settles within a few minutes.
Is Volume third-party tested?
Our black seed oil is. Every batch is lab-verified for thymoquinone content, and a Certificate of Analysis is available on request.
How long before I notice anything?
Use it daily and give it a few weeks. Consistency matters far more than quantity β the products are designed to sit inside a routine you already have, not to replace it.
Can I use it alongside other products or medication?
Generally, yes β these are food and personal-care products, not medicine. If you're pregnant, nursing, or on prescription medication, check with your healthcare provider first.
Is it vegan? Halal? Gluten-free?
Our black seed oil is plant-based, gluten-free and vegan. The tallow balm contains grass-fed beef tallow and honey, so it is not vegan. All Volume products are cruelty-free β the ingredient list on each product page says exactly what's in it.
